About the Event

There are many ways to preserve the harvest from your garden: freezing, canning, dehydrating, pickling, fermenting and storing (root cellaring). In this skills sharing workshop we will explore ways to preserve your harvest using some of the methods on this list that require little to no energy inputs.

Meet Our Presenters: Bonnie Sammons and Jo Ashburn

Bonnie and Jo have been active members and leaders of Mid Maine Permaculture for over a decade. They share an enthusiasm for gardening and permaculture in particular. Bonnie received her Permaculture Design Course (PDC) in 2013. Jo came to MMP as a self taught gardener, with skills learned from helping her mother in the garden as a child and some sound advice from gardener friends.
